The BSA National Executive Board has made a historic decision, appointing Eagle Scout Roger A. Krone as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Krone’s passion for Scouting, coupled with his extensive leadership experience, makes this an exhilarating moment for our organization.
Meet Mike Hale, Eagle Scout and Golden Gate Area Council’s second Scouting Executive.
Brett Bormann earned his Eagle at the age of seventeen from Troop 941 in Pleasanton, California. He is currently a Ph.D. Student at the University of California, Davis, where he is studying neuroscience. Before attending UC Davis, Brett served as a lifeguard for the East Bay Regional Parks.
Eagle Scout Andrew Steckner was elected to lead the National Venturing Officers’ Association. Andrew will begin his term on June 1st, 2021.
Lauren Swenson-Lennox is a member of the Inaugural Class of Female Eagle Scouts. She earned her Eagle from Troop 998G of Pleasanton, Calif. She is currently a student at Foothill High School and plans on studying sociology upon graduation.
Eagle Scouts have been leading positive change in their communities for more than a century. That tradition continues with the historic inaugural class of Female Eagle Scouts. Help celebrate the leadership accomplishments of the inaugural class as we highlight the positive impact Scouts make in communities every day.
