2024 New Eagle Scout Sponsorship Program

Annually, the Golden Gate Area Council honors new Eagle Scouts with a complimentary Eagle Scout Award Box Set and a Recognition Event at no cost to the Eagle Scouts. However, these benefits come with associated costs for the council.

We’ve introduced the New Eagle Sponsorship Program to sustain these programs, inviting individuals and organizations to sponsor Eagle Scouts. With a cost of $50 per Eagle and an annual average of 500 Eagle Scouts, these expenses accumulate quickly. Unlike traditional campaigns, we seek a single sponsor at a comfortable level, ranging from supporting a single Eagle Scout to endorsing the entire council. Your sponsorship directly impacts program sustainability, ensuring our council’s tradition of recognizing and supporting new Eagle Scouts.
