This week’s Eagle Scout Spotlight is with Inaugural Female Eagle Scout Kathryn Block. Kathryn earned her Eagle at the age of 12 from troop 514 of Discovery Bay. A passion for horses naturally leads to her favorite merit badge being Horsemanship. Kathryn is also joined in the Eagle’s nest by her brother.

Yes, my brother is an Eagle Scout.

A Canned food drive for the White Pony Express.

Horsemanship Merit Badge. I ride horses every week.
What does being an Eagle Scout mean to you? What does it mean to be a part of the Inaugural class of Female Eagle Scouts?
It means that now I am expected to be able to keep helping people.
What is the greatest personal asset you developed while earning your Eagle Scout or from being an Eagle in the greater community? How has this asset contributed towards personal fulfillment and success in your professional or personal life?
I have learned to focus more. I thad happened me with sim and school.
If you could add a thirteenth point to the scout law, what would it be?
I think flexible is a good one to add because a scout has to be flexible and change there schedule.
